When I was in high school, I loved to read. Although I didn't read many books, I read a few book many times. Through reading, I realize I learned a lot about life and humans. But ever since life became a little busier than usual, I left this habit behind to free up time to do other things. One day, I woke up and realized that some things should never be replaced.
In January 2010, I made a deal with myself that I will read 30 books this year. 30 isn't a big number but having realized that I only read 3 books in 2009, it could be a challenge. So 30 books it is and here we go!
Some of the books I've read so far this year:
- A brief history of time, Stephen Hawking
- I can read you like a book, Gregory Hartley
- The secrets of self-made millionaires, Adam Khoo
- It's not how smart you are, it's about how you are smart, Jeanne Anne Craig
- Acing the interview, Tony Beshara
- Managing your time, Jeff Davidson
- Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell
- How to win friends and influence people, Dale Carnegie
- The last lecture, Randy Pausch
- The lost symbol, Dan Brown
- The 7 habits of highly effective people, Stephen R. Covey
- The leader in you, Dale Carnegie
- The snowball: Warren Buffet and the business of life, Alice Shroeder
