My book resolution

The book I'm reading now is: Tuesdays with Morrie, Mitch Albom (Sept '10)

When I was in high school, I loved to read. Although I didn't read many books, I read a few book many times. Through reading, I realize I learned a lot about life and humans. But ever since life became a little busier than usual, I left this habit behind to free up time to do other things. One day, I woke up and realized that some things should never be replaced.

In January 2010, I made a deal with myself that I will read 30 books this year. 30 isn't a big number but having realized that I only read 3 books in 2009, it could be a challenge. So 30 books it is and here we go!

Some of the books I've read so far this year:
  1. A brief history of time, Stephen Hawking
  2. I can read you like a book, Gregory Hartley
  3. The secrets of self-made millionaires, Adam Khoo
  4. It's not how smart you are, it's about how you are smart, Jeanne Anne Craig
  5. Acing the interview, Tony Beshara
  6. Managing your time, Jeff Davidson
  7. Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell
  8. How to win friends and influence people, Dale Carnegie
  9. The last lecture, Randy Pausch
Next few books I'm going to read:
  1. The lost symbol, Dan Brown
  2. The 7 habits of highly effective people, Stephen R. Covey
  3. The leader in you, Dale Carnegie
  4. The snowball: Warren Buffet and the business of life, Alice Shroeder
